DIY Thank You Cards - Perfect for Teachers - Papermilldirect DT

Hello, I have a new Papermilldirect DT card to share, it's a super easy DIY Thank You card perfect for Teachers, this CAS (Clean & Simple) card design is ideal for batch making and makes great use of the brand new Card Blanks now available from Papermilldirect!  These card blanks are cut in a handy range of sizes and scored all ready for folding and are invaluable when batch making.  

Step by Step:

• Take a papermilldirect A6 white card blank (unfolded) ready to stamp onto.  I’m using a new toy, a Stamping Platform and it’s so easy to secure an unfolded card blank nice and flat ready for stamping.

Position the Thank You stamp so it’s towards the left of the card front and ink up with black ink before pressing down firmly. (It’s also easy to use these clear stamps with a regular stamping block if you prefer). Simply remove the stamped card blank and fold on the score line using a bone folder or tool for a crisp finish.
 

Using an Apple shape die, die cut the shape from PMD Intensive Red and PMD Intensive Green.

I have snipped the leaf and stalk off the green shape and used a clear drying glue to paper piece it onto the red apple. (it’s quick and easy!) but for an even speedier make you could just keep to one colour apples.

Use a 3D foam pad to adhere the apple onto the card front, positon at a slight angle to right of stamped sentiment. And that’s it!  A CAS style thank you card all ready to go.   

Why not speed make by stamping a batch of Papermilldirect ready-made Card Blanks in advance, and doing a spot of bulk die-cutting at a later date, there are a few different shades of reds and greens across the Papermilldirect cardstock range to cut different colour apples.  You could involve young children in helping by handing them the ready stamped bases and letting them add the apples with a simple foam pad on the back, a perfect way to say Thank You to a Teacher,
